Consistent management is key to enabling scale, agility, and security.
Consistent management is key to enabling scale, agility, and security.
Traditional enterprise networks are complex systems. For the Department of Defense (DoD), managing this complexity in a fast-changing digital landscape can be challenging. Securing these networks in the modern era is even more difficult. The network has become a weapons system, and the efficiency and security of this system are more critical than ever. This changing environment is driving the military’s need for a new, modern network infrastructure that can deliver scale, agility, and security in a simplified way.
LCA Networks has a proven Cisco DNA/SD-Access Solution for DoD:
Consistent management is key to enabling scale, agility, and security. LCA Networks implements a Cisco based centralized Software-Defined Network (SDN) controller solution, so network administrators can turn up new network infrastructure faster than ever before. SDN enables network change in a secure, error-free manner, drastically reducing human error in configurations at scale. Selected by the US Navy for two key installations on the West Coast, LCA Networks recently implemented the Navy’s first two full-scale Cisco SD-ACCESS (DNA) Network Deployments to support a complete Cisco Secured Unified Communications network at both locations. This project experience has led our engineering team to develop methodologies to both install new “greenfield” DNA deployments and migration planning to get your traditional DoD network architecture transitioned successfully to a Cisco SD-ACCESS architecture. Cisco SD-Access provides organizations with a broad set of capabilities via fabric overlays. SD-Access uses programmable overlays that can enable many logical networks over the top of a physical underlay network to enable design intent. Leveraging fabric overlays, Cisco SD-Access helps ensure user mobility, cloud and data center integration, and segmentation through a zero-trust security architecture.
